We built with brick, wood, and stone, and used sheep wool for insulation. The heating is supplied by ground collectors, while the added masonry oven makes the warmth even more pleasant. Ample soft water is provided by the rain. The interior is plastered with local lime, which was burnt and hydrated using traditional methods. This was also how lime was once prepared in the immediate vicinity. We incorporated a part of the old construction in the otherwise new structures, we developed visual artistic ornamentation from the wooden house beams and chose one of them to add to various individual pieces of interior furnishing.
